Why I Changed LunaOwl to Wise Hazel: A Journey of Roots, Rhythm, and Reconnection

After much time away—after life slowed me down with health battles, a big move, and deep soul work—I’m finally stepping forward with something that feels so aligned with where I am, and where my family and I are heading.

If you’ve followed me through LunaOwl, you’ve witnessed the ebb and flow of my personal journey—through motherhood, healing, spirituality, and creative growth. But after we moved, something in me shifted. The energy of LunaOwl no longer felt like home. It had served its purpose beautifully, but as my spiritual practice deepened and took on a more ancestral, earth-rooted rhythm, I knew it was time to evolve.

During my quiet season, I spent a lot of time reflecting—on what I do, why I do it, and most importantly, who I am becoming. That’s when it hit me: the threads of my life—LunaOwl and Wise Acres Mini Farm—weren’t two separate stories. They were always part of the same tapestry. They just needed to be woven together.

And so, Wise Hazel was born.

Wise Hazel is more than just a new name. It’s a rebirth. A merging of the magic and wisdom from LunaOwl with the grounded, nurturing energy of our homestead life. It’s a sacred space that honors health, wellness, and ancestry. A place where tradition meets intuition, where we make room for old ways and new ideas to dance together.

But don’t worry—LunaOwl isn’t completely gone. It’s just shifted into a new chapter of its own. LunaOwl is now part of Unconventional Momma [www.luna-owl.com], my growing spiritual community and movement over on Facebook. It’s become a safe, sacred space for all walks of life, with a very active blog that dives into:

Unconventional Momma is where I share my heart and connect with our vibrant, supportive community. It’s still very much a part of my soul’s work—just with a renewed focus.
